Freeport-McMoRan Safford Inc. seeks the following positions in Safford, AZ: Geologist I (Job #AC51): Under supervision of a Senior Geologist, complete logging of drill samples, geologic mapping, sampling and assist in the completion of resource block models. Mechanical Engineer I (#AC52): Under close supervision, assists in providing technical advice and guidance for designated mechanical engineering projects and programs at assigned site. Sr Geotechnical Engineer (#AC53): Under general supervision, provide professional geotechnical engineering support, analysis and review related to design, construction, and operation of ore leach pads, tailings impoundments, storm water ponds, mining infrastructure foundations, etc. and serve as company resource for geotechnical information and analysis.
